Presentation of Souk Waqif in Paris

Once Upon a Time…Souk Waqif originally opened in 2006, during the Doha Asian Games and in 2007 was exhibited at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris from 25 until the 29th of June, under the patronage of H.E Sheikha Almayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, chairperson of Qatar Museums Authority and sponsored by Qatar National Bank. A Photographic exhibition showcasing Qatar’s cultural landmark Souk Waqif.

The exhibition featured 30 black and white photos size 95x122cm printed on canvas using the Digigraphie® process.

The book with the complete series of photographs is available at Virgin Magastore, Four Seasons Hotel in Doha and Al Bourj Bookshop in Beirut.
